Part two of our Barcelona adventure included brunch in the city, flea market shopping downtown, gourmet burgers by the beach, a surprise stop for jewelry shopping, and chupitos con fuego (shots on fire!) at night. We were definitely busy soaking in all of the beauty and character of this incredible city.
With big plans, today’s look was all about keeping it simple. A navy slip dress with black lace trim from Zara, Steve Madden combat boots, and a punch of color and excitement with my bright floral kimono from ASTR. The jewelry were all finds in Barcelona. The antique pocket watch necklace was all mine after a quick barter at the local flea market, and the small pendant with the phrase, “the best is yet to come” was an exciting find at a local boutique by jewelry designer Ena Macana. Literally her stuff is amazing!
By night I was ready to black out. Or should I say go out in all black (and a gold kimono). My black Zara skort and embellished Topshop top was perfect for exploring the city at night. Espit Chupitos gave us the most interesting array of shots and shooters which they lit on fire, a daring experience to say the least. And dessert was served in courses at Espai Sucre, each better and more fascinating than the next.
Barcelona couldn’t have been a more enjoyable experience. But our next stop, Paris, inspired the chic fashionista within me. Trips to the Lourve, Eiffle Tower, and Artist’s Quarters only left me wanting more time to explore- and shop. Those Parisian looks are soon to come!!
