Spring Into Leather

Manic is teaming up again with fab celebrity stylist, Ali Levine, to give you double the fashion inspiration this fine Tuesday. As the weather warms up, maybe your apt to stop grabbing for those pieces that were staples in your wardrobe all winter long. Well don’t! Some pieces can live in your wardrobe year round with just a few tricks and changes here and there. The piece were focusing on today is the leather jacket. Ali and I are giving you two fool proof ways to rock this jacket long through spring. The biggest way we are both pulling this piece off is by pairing it with a lighter look. I sent for denim cutoffs while Ali went for a breezy pleated skirt. Another way to make this piece feel spring is to play with color. A mint leather jacket like the one Ali is sporting has spring written all over it. Or tie it around your waist like me to give to give things a cool-girl spin while incorporating a leather jacket sans the heat. And just like that, you have two ways to spring into leather.
