Fall Into Leather :: Slowly

Leather and fall go together like peanut butter and jelly or NYFW and Street Style. But when the calendar says fall and the weather says, um, Bahamas?, it’s kinda difficult or me to think about wearing leather anything. Because honestly, leather (or shall I say pleather) doesn’t breath, people. If sticky and sweaty is what you’re going for, leather is the way. But regardless of how hot it is, I’m with the calendar schedule as far as my fashion goes. In June I want to live in a swim suit with a Passion Lemonade Iced Tea in hand and when PSL comes back to Starbucks, I’m ready for booties, oversized scarfs, the chunkiest sweaters, and layers galore. So today I’m going with the calendar year and choosing the leather weather; I’m just doing it very wisely. Leather pants would SO not be okay. But slouchy leather overalls in short form are just perfection!
