Moody Florals

We’re less than a week away from feeling like it’s appropriate to bust out those cozy knits and booties; I think it seems perfect once Labor Day passes. But I doubt the weather here in Orange County is going to magically change to crisp and cool fall perfection. So the next about month or so will be all about feeling fall without literally feeling the fall weather.

One way to break into those fall feels is by adding moody florals to your closet. Moody florals are darker in color story than those ones you’ve been rocking all summer and they fit the fall mood and look great paired back to those pumpkin-spice-colored trees. My tunic today is just that. The print is perfect for this transition period but it’s lightweight enough for warmer nights. And if you happen to be below the height of 5′ 8″ then you’ll be able to get away with wearing something like this as a dress which means you can also probably wear it during the day and still feel cool as a cucumber.
