All black is a staple; it;s effortless and easy. Time and time again I find myself in head to toe black. I thought I had made a New Year’s Resolution to add more color into my life. But like most resolutions, that came and went with the start of the New Year. I did by a muted pink suede skirt here and a blue printed blouse here, but I can still be found wearing head-to-toe black for most of the week. During the summer though, I tried to make this black feel lighter and more summer appropriate. I found that crop tops and my high-rise Joni’s were the perfect solution. It shows just the right amount of skin to scream summer and look great for a night out. A leather vest adds a little warmth (which sounds unnecessary, but I am ALWAYS cold) and edge.
