Off the Grid

 

I bought these shorts at Primark during my London adventures. They, too, were buried in my drawer with the last-season skort. And I remembered how much I loved them there. They were a staple with my over-the-knee socks or opaque tights, an oversized sweater, and coat (or two). I wanted to live in that nostalgia, and I wanted it now; so I gave them a summer twist with an off the shoulder,l boho feeling blouse. Sandals would have worked but were almost transitioning to fall, so I found the boots more appropriate. And a pointed toe bootie always has a bad-ass vibe and who can say no to that.
