Jeans have been my go-to pretty much every second of everyday. I’ve stuffed my closet full of every jean imaginable: cropped flares, regular flares, high rise, mom rise, straight leg, embroidered, waxed. The list could continue. But as great as a killer pair of jeans is, there are other bottoms in my closet not currently receiving the right attention. And wearing jeans everyday gets me feeling like I’m in a rut no matter how much styling I add to them. Think scarves, belts, and shoe play.
Today’s look is me breakout out of that rut, even if for just a little. Striped pants paired with a star-printed top breaks me out of the denim days reminding me of how fun it is to play with my closet and reach for those pieces that deserve some more wear and tear.
