Pineapples Please

Pineapples are an easy print for spring and summer. This fruit screams tropical and easily connects my thoughts to laying under the sun with my feet warm in the sand sipping on a blended drink with way too much sugar for way too much fun. As summer is winding down, I hate having to pack away pieces that just can’t be made fall appropriate. But before I do that, I play with things. Style is this way or layer it like that – I try to make pieces work so I can keep my wardrobe feeling as big as possible for as long as possible. Because for me and clothing, more is always better. So although this pineapple print on my kimono might feel summery, it’ll easily be a transition piece that I’ll wear likely through October. The color story is dark making it fit right in with those fall moods and the sleeves are long-ish which will be the perfect way to keep warm for a nighttime look to the bars or dinner with girlfriends when I don’t want anything too bulky. So pass the pineapple for a little longer, if you please.
