I love music; it’s another form of art I can connect with wether it be to particular lyrics or to a particular artist. I am a music fan. I always say that if I could sing, I would have absolutely pursued something in the musical field. And with this, I constantly have this long list of musicians or bands that I am dying to see. This past Saturday I check Lana Del Rey off my list and then proceeded to put her back on the list. She was SO good; I died. I love her style. Every interview with her leaves me feeling inspired. I’m jealous of her way with words. Oh, and I dig her music, duh! Her lyrics get me thinking and create new tweets for my small little Twitter feed. Her voice sounds like it belongs to the past and is just as killer live as it is on her albums. You could say there’s a slight girl crush occurring here, and I’m okay with that. This is the cool (if I do say so myself) look I wore to her concert. A suede fringe jacket and flares just felt oh so right.
