Worth the Wait

There are just those pieces that catch your eye; you try them on, fall in love with them, and realize you’ve already spent too much money in one stop at H&M that week to purchase that one item with a bit more of a price tag. But even when you leave them behind in the fitting room, you can’t stop thinking about them. Those were my exact feelings about this striped shirt dress from Topshop. I saw it a while back at nordstrom and just drooled over it. I loved the fabrication. The mix of blue and black made such a statement. And I’m always a sucker for prints. But for one reason or an other, I just kept putting off purchasing it. I had to buy this that week, or (most likely not) I was trying to practice some self control. And then, that item goes on sale costing you $25, and it’s like you won an Oscar or something. Instant gratification is great, but a fashion steal is just as good if not better. So I guess it’s true: the best things in life are worth the wait.
