If you’re like me, and you have a special relationship with your closet, dressing your pregnancy body can be tough. I’m almost at 6 months and somewhere between I feel like I’ve lost my style but I’m still yearning to dress like myself and I just really want to be comftable. Getting dressed while still maintaining my personality is definitely tougher these days. Oh, and did I mention worth it? I’d live it sweatpants if I had to. But I won’t let it get that far.
Getting dressed while pregnant just takes a bit more thought and creativity. Especially if you’re not a fan of maternity clothes. Cause let’s be honest, I don’t like most of what I’m finding out there. And what I do like is way out of budget for something I’ll wear for only so many months of my life. This post is one of many like this, but today I’m focusing on outerwear as an easy way to keep your outfits looking fresh and cool. You might throw on a T-shirt and leggings and your high tops. But if you too it all off with a unique, plaid coat, you’re going to feel instantly cooler. Trust me. And you don’t have to be shopping just maternity lines to make this hack work. Go a size up or two at your favorite fast fashion stores, and you’ll be surprised at your ootd.
