Black is always an easy color choice when it comes to picking an outfit. It can be flashy but not too flashy, it conceals anything I spill on myself which happens to be often for a clumsy lady like me, and it quickly catches the eye when it makes up like 85% of your closet. But on the other hand, black all day every day can become a little mundane. At least for me. I like stepping out of my style box and spicing things up a bit with some prints and color.
But that’s not what today’s post is about at all. Today’s post is day 22 of the WhoWhatWear Fall style Challenge and it’s also all about black. But it’s about taking that black and making it new and exciting by playing with different silhouettes. So here it’s is. A wide-leg pair of pants paired with an equally swingy, shifty top and a structured vest. Just enough to play with a day before the weekend starts.
