I can’t with… Bucket Hats
I just bought baby a bucket hat and that’s the only person in my home that will own one. It’s super cute on a baby, but other than that, I just can’t with the bucket hat trend. I’m usually very open and adventurous when it comes to my style, but I had to draw the line here.
So I’m buying… Barrettes/Head Bands
And I’m buying them in bulk. From pearls to plastic, this is a trend I can’t get enough of. As for the headbands, I’m pining for prints and anything embellished.
I can’t with… Flip Flops
Somewhere in college, I started hating flip flops. I’m not sure why or how this revelation came to be, but it’s strongly continued on till this day.
So I’m buying… Strappy, flat sandals
I’m all for a comfy sandal, but let’s try and dress it up a little. I’m loving sandals that wrap in unexpected places or even feel a bit “ugly” like a flip flop but more chic.
I can’t with… Micro Bags
I’m not like functionalities biggest fan but I just can’t with the itty bitty bags. If I’m going to carry around a purse in the first place, I want it to serve me some how. And if I can’t fit my phone and lipstick in it, then forget about it.
So I’m buying… Beaded Bags
I’m loving those beaded handbags that are popping up everywhere. You might think they’re just as useless as the micro handbags, but they’re not. They come full sized and ready to be filled with whatever goodies I want to carry around that day. Plus there are so many styles out there with long straps, short straps, zippers, etc., There’s something functional for everyone.
I can’t with… Low-rise Pants
They’re just not for me. They accentuate my bigger hips and since I’m on the taller side, shirts tend to run short for me. Just not my thing. I have been forced to wear them during pregnancy and am seriously excited to get into my high-rise everything once again.
So I’m buying… Colored Denim
I’m thinking elevated colors and shapes that scream street style. If you’re a big skinny-jean-kinda gal, I have faith you can pull off this trend in your skinny jeans!
I cant’t with… Wrap-around Sunglasses
I just was reading about these in an article and remembered I need to pick up my contact from my eye doctor. These literally remind me of when you get your eyes dilated and have to wear those protective glasses. Not for me.
So I’m buying… All-the-shapes Eyewear
Ovals, hexagons, rectangles. You name the shape and I’ll give it a try. Sunglasses are one of my favorite trends to play with because you can do so without spending a ton of money. Think Amazon or SheIn to get you the look for less.
