Bath Thermometer
Maybe it sounds weird, but I hate showers. I’ve pretty much only taken baths ever since I was a little kid. Raising your body temperature too much during pregnancy can be bad for baby, and I like a burning hot bath. So I bought this little sting ray to make sure I’m keeping temperatures at a safe level.
Maternity Pillow
I had back pain like the second my pregnancy started and this pillow has been great for that. Now that I am a little into my second trimester, I’m trying to avoid sleeping on my back, and this pillow helps. I’ll lay on my side, and shove the side of the pillow opposite from the side I’m laying on against my back. That way if I try to roll on to my back while I’m sleeping, I can’t really. I also have my trusty husband who I’ll find waking my up with the sweet words “roll over.”
Water
Lol this sounds crazy, but I am not a big water drinker. It’s really like a chore, but I know how important it is especially now that I’m pregnant. Not a big water drinker? Here’s a little trick I like: a cute water bottle makes me wayyy more likely to drink my recommended daily intake.
Apple Cider Vinegar as Toner
I had to get rid of a couple skincare products that kept my skin clear as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I’ll also be doing a whole pregnancy skincare post soon since my routine had to get changed up quite a bit!
Decaf Coffee Pods
I am a big coffee drinker both to aide in my caffeine addiction and cause I love the taste. I’m now kicking off my morning with a cup of decaf rather than regular so I can still enjoy my iced coffee from Starbucks.
